This nail design is perfect for any festive occasion, whether it is for the New Year's or simply the international firework festivals during summer. It is a very simple manicure that attracts people's eyes.

Tutorial

1. Apply a base coat to smooth the surface of your nails and to prevent them from staining.
2. Paint your nails black to represent the dark sky at night. You might wants to do a second cost to make sure the whole surface is opaque.
3. Add a drop of color (I used gold) for the center of the firework.
4. Use a toothpick to drag from the center of the drop to create filaments illustrating the explosion.
5. Add a drop of glitter of your choice at the center of the firework and drag it to add some spark.
6. Repeat with another color for the other fireworks. I only did this design on my thumb and ring finger because I didn't want my nails to be too overwhelming.
7. Finish off by applying a top coat to seal and smooth the design.
